Today I ventured outside of London to see some relatives. Doug, Kara and Lauren. More specifically a 2 hour bus ride to the town of Coventry. I Quite enjoyed the bus ride except for one part. This stupid guy had his techno music blaring soooo loud from his head phone I could hear it over the music in my headphones a times. It was great to see a familiar face, especially since I haven’t seen Doug and Kara in a couple years.
Good News! The outlying towns Celebrate Guy Fawkes day on the 6th rather than the 5th so I will get a chance to see fireworks after all.
So as soon as I got to Coventry we hit the ground running with my first European starbux. And let me tell you they are just as good here. I started with an Eggnog Latte today but I think I will return to Chai Eggnog the next visit, which might be tomorrow.
After Starbux Doug Lauren and I venture to Kenilworth Castle and the Elizabethan Gardens. The Tower of London was my first Castle of the trip and this was my second. The difference for Kenilworth was that it was a ruined castle which was pretty cool. Got some sweet pics and watched the sunset from over the hills. They also had a huge sound system set up for the evening and as we were exiting they were blasting “Requiem” By Mozart, So Epic!
Hopefully tonight’s sleep will be a good one. It was hard to pick a song of the day today, so many to choose from during the bus ride but I guess…
